Ten young filmmakers from different backgrounds create eclectic and fascinating portraits of communities, from the most confidential to the most symptomatic of a world in the throes of change. Through the eyes they cast on the future, their characters tell us about living together, the margins, otherness, commitment and the diversity of possible futures. Whether they are up-and-coming filmmakers, alumni of film schools or spearheading a new generation of filmmakers, the directors are driven by a deep desire to listen to the voices of today and to follow their visions of contemporary society.
